Scripture: Psalm 46:10 (NIV) - "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Message: When we pray it’s as if we pick up a phone to talk to God. How often do you sit and wait for him to respond? It can be challenging to find moments of stillness in the fast pace of our daily lives. But in stillness, we find an opportunity to connect with God, to listen, and to know Him. Take a few minutes today to be still, breathe, and reflect on God's presence. Know that He is in control and is exalted above all else.
Application: Find a quiet place, even if it's just for a few minutes, and focus on being still. Listen for God's voice and find peace in His presence. If this is something you have a hard time doing try going out in nature. Taking a short walk with no headphones just listening. Sit in your backyard or your local park where you can enjoy the views of nature.
