We always see videos and recipes on how to make chia pudding as if we were meal prepping for the week. With portions sizes that are 3x plus the amount, we should be eating. Just to make it look "picture perfect" with overflowing toppings. What if we want a single serving of chia pudding, right now!?
How do I make a single serving of chia pudding when making more seems like an over-commitment?
Well, let's try it out.

I think the hardest choice is, what flavor should we indulge in?
Banana Cacao with Chocolate chips?
Strawberry delight?
Coconut Chia pudding?
There are so many different ways we can create this. So, let's start basic since we are doing single-serving then we can add our toppings of choice.
First, you want to gather your ingredients
2 Tbsp Chia seeds
2/3 Soy Milk, Nut milk, Oat Milk or Milk
1 Tbsp Maple syrup or Honey
Other optional ingredients you can add include:
A dash of Vanilla extract (optional)
sprinkle of Cinnamon
Fresh or frozen berries
Banana slices and walnuts
Cacao to the mix topped with some semi-chocolate chips.
The choices are endless. Take a look into your cabinet and see what you have to play with.

When making chia pudding I like to mix my 1 tbsp of maple or honey with my milk of choice first.
Last-minute I decided to add 1 tbsp of cacao.
Caution - If you pour the Cacao over the milk and stir it will look like this. The milk has to splash on top of the cacao to be able to blend properly.

If I knew I was adding Cacao to the mix, I would mix this in before adding my chia seeds and stir until there are no lumps.

I added my 2 tbsp of Chia seeds and a dash of cinnamon to my liking and continued to stir. If you are making a single serving to enjoy later, stir the pudding after 15 mins. The chia seeds will thicken and you want to stir to keep them from settling to be able to enjoy them later.
I do recommend waiting 15 minutes because it will give it that true pudding thickness.
Tip: With different milk (Coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk, etc) comes different consistency. Depending on how thick you want your pudding, you can add more or fewer chia seeds. You will not be able to truly tell the thickness until that 15-minute mark.

I topped mine with some frozen berries and I truly enjoyed it!
Tell me what you added to your chia pudding I would love to hear how this process went for you.
✨Wishing you Peace, Love & Blessings ✨
